Il y a aussi la charge mentale\u00a0: les passeports, les bagages, les n\u00e9gociations pour les en-cas, la recherche du bon quai, le fait de garder tout le monde ensemble et d&#039;essayer de transformer la \u201c\u00a0logistique\u00a0\u201d en quelque chose qui ressemble encore \u00e0 un voyage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette semaine, nous avons pris l&#039;avion depuis&nbsp;<strong>De Berlin \u00e0 Tokyo<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 routage \u00e0 travers&nbsp;<strong>Munich et P\u00e9kin<\/strong>&nbsp;Sur Lufthansa et Air China. Nous avons trouv\u00e9 un super prix pour quatre personnes, et le vol a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tonnamment rapide car l&#039;itin\u00e9raire permettait de survoler la Russie. Pour une fois, le voyage s&#039;est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 sans encombre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons dormi un peu dans l&#039;avion et sommes arriv\u00e9s le lendemain \u00e0&nbsp;<strong>d\u00e9but d&#039;apr\u00e8s-midi<\/strong>, c&#039;est \u00e0 ce moment de la journ\u00e9e que le d\u00e9calage horaire se fait sentir sournoisement : on se sent suffisamment en forme pour commencer \u00e0 bouger\u2026 jusqu&#039;\u00e0 ce que le corps se souvienne discr\u00e8tement qu&#039;il fonctionne \u00e0 une horloge diff\u00e9rente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ma premi\u00e8re d\u00e9cision\u00a0: ne pas \u201c\u00a0optimiser\u00a0\u201d Tokyo, mais la vivre pleinement.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand on arrive dans un endroit comme Tokyo, la tentation de faire les choses \u201c correctement \u201d est imm\u00e9diate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le premier repas parfait. Le premier quartier id\u00e9al. La photo parfaite pour les r\u00e9seaux sociaux. Le plan parfait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&#039;ai fait quelque chose de plus simple\u00a0: j&#039;ai emmen\u00e9 ma famille directement \u00e0&nbsp;<strong>Gare de Tokyo<\/strong>&nbsp;pour ressentir le chaos et l&#039;ampleur de la chose dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Non pas parce que c&#039;est le choix le plus facile, mais parce que c&#039;est\u2026&nbsp;<em>Tokyo<\/em>\u2014et la gare de Tokyo, c&#039;est comme p\u00e9n\u00e9trer au c\u0153ur m\u00eame de la ville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&#039;\u00e9tait bruyant, rapide, d\u00e9routant et \u00e9trangement \u00e9nergisant. Exactement comme annonc\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mon intention \u00e9tait claire :&nbsp;<strong>Rue des ramen de Tokyo<\/strong>&nbsp;dans le m\u00e9tro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et nous y sommes arriv\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais la station a sa propre logique, et \u201c le plan \u201d survit rarement au premier contact avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, surtout quand quatre personnes affam\u00e9es sont impliqu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La victoire accidentelle\u00a0: pas de ramen\u2026 Hiroshima<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Au lieu de ramen, nous avons fini par manger dans un restaurant sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans la cuisine d&#039;Hiroshima et nous avons d\u00e9gust\u00e9 un plat qui reste grav\u00e9 dans ma m\u00e9moire\u00a0:&nbsp;<strong>Nouilles udon garnies de fromage et d&#039;\u0153ufs, napp\u00e9es d&#039;une sauce onctueuse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur le papier, cela ressemble \u00e0 une situation o\u00f9 \u201c faire confiance au processus \u201d a mal tourn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, c&#039;\u00e9tait l&#039;une de ces victoires en voyage qu&#039;on ne peut pas provoquer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&#039;\u00e9tait chaud, r\u00e9confortant, et exactement ce dont on a envie apr\u00e8s une longue journ\u00e9e de voyage : un repas qui d\u00e9tend le syst\u00e8me nerveux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il y a une le\u00e7on \u00e0 en tirer : parfois, les meilleurs moments d&#039;un voyage surviennent lorsque le plan \u00e9choue en douceur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La transition : de l&#039;intensit\u00e9 urbaine au foyer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s le repas, nous nous sommes dirig\u00e9s vers notre Airbnb, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs stations au nord de la gare de Tokyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce moment pr\u00e9cis \u2013 quitter le bouillonnement lumineux de la ville et regagner son \u201c\u00a0chez-soi\u00a0\u201d \u2013 est celui o\u00f9 le voyage prend tout son sens. On passe du mode touriste au mode habitant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et c\u2019est l\u00e0 que j\u2019ai ressenti quelque chose que je ne ressens pas toujours lors de mes d\u00e9placements professionnels\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>une r\u00e9initialisation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pas le genre de fantasme \u201c Je suis une nouvelle personne maintenant \u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le genre plus calme, celui o\u00f9 votre cerveau cesse de tourner en rond sur les sch\u00e9mas habituels pendant suffisamment longtemps pour que vous puissiez vous entendre penser \u00e0 nouveau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ce que cette semaine m&#039;a rappel\u00e9 concernant le bien-\u00eatre<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ceci est un blog sur le bien-\u00eatre, alors voici la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voyager peut bouleverser vos habitudes. Mais cela peut aussi r\u00e9v\u00e9ler quelles habitudes sont authentiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En voyage, on perd ses habitudes. On ne retrouve plus ses aliments pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s. On ne retrouve plus son lit habituel. Le rythme de vie est chamboul\u00e9. Le corps est d\u00e9sorient\u00e9. Le stress peut monter en fl\u00e8che, m\u00eame en vivant une exp\u00e9rience extraordinaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qui signifie que la question devient\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disposez-vous d&#039;un syst\u00e8me, ou b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiez-vous seulement de conditions id\u00e9ales\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette semaine, mon \u201c syst\u00e8me \u201d n\u2019\u00e9tait pas ax\u00e9 sur la perfection. Il s\u2019agissait de conserver quelques points d\u2019ancrage simples\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bougez un peu<\/strong>\u00a0(m\u00eame s&#039;il s&#039;agit simplement de traverser des gares et des quartiers \u00e0 pied)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mangez quelque chose de chaud et r\u00e9confortant.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ne pr\u00e9cipitez pas le premier jour<\/strong>\u00a0(La fatigue li\u00e9e aux voyages est bien r\u00e9elle)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Que le lieu soit le point<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce dernier point est plus important qu&#039;on ne le croit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand on a une vie tr\u00e9pidante, le repos devient souvent une t\u00e2che de plus \u00e0 accomplir correctement. Pourtant, parfois, se ressourcer consiste simplement \u00e0 \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent dans un lieu inconnu et \u00e0 laisser son attention se tourner vers l&#039;ext\u00e9rieur plut\u00f4t que vers l&#039;int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tokyo a rendu cela facile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Petite exp\u00e9rience pour la semaine prochaine (moins de 2 minutes pour commencer)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chaque jour de voyage, je choisirai un \u201c point d&#039;ancrage \u201d avant notre atterrissage :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Un endroit que nous d\u00e9couvrirons sans nous presser.<\/em>\u00a0(m\u00eame si c&#039;est chaotique),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>et\u00a0<em>un simple repas r\u00e9confortant<\/em>\u00a0(chaud, nourrissant, sans complications).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Non pas parce qu&#039;il est optimis\u00e9, mais parce qu&#039;il pr\u00e9serve l&#039;aspect humain du voyage.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Travel Turns Into a Reset Button There\u2019s a special kind of tired that only happens when you cross time zones as a family.
