Inside the Data: What Intermittent Fasting Changed Before it Changed My Weight

Before fasting changed my body composition, it changed my numbers.

I first noticed it in my resting heart rate and sleep data. Recovery scores improved before the mirror did. Energy across workdays felt more stable long before I saw any dramatic change on a scale.

This is why I track: hours fasted, HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep continuity. It keeps the focus on systems, not snapshots.

In future entries, I’ll share specific trends—what happens to my data during travel weeks, during extended fasts, and during high-stress business periods. Results matter, but the process tells the real story.
